I just wanted to let you know how inspired I am after reading a passage from your website. I was reading Kenneth Copeland Daily Devotional and I copied and pasted the daily scripture with the intent to go to the bible and read the scripture online. The scripture pasted into goggle search and your website showed for one of the choices. I read the Prayer and Declaration for Deuteronomy 28:1-13. I am inspired to know that I am blessed and my children are blessed because I follow God. Thank you for knowing God and sharing your faith with the world.
For 3 years I struggled with the fact that several things happened to me.
1. I obtained a new job working 40 hours a week( I was use to working about 30 hours a week)
2. I had 3 children (2 new babies and one with Cerebral Palsy).
3. I was separated from my husband. I was handling everything on my own.
4. I was basically homeless. Living with my mother who has a 3 bedroom home. Including me and my family my mom’s house now had 3 adults and 3 children living in one home. My children and I had to share one bedroom.
5. My car was repossessed because my husband stopped paying for the car. So I was carless.
All of this happened within 2 months. But I was determined to get back on my feet. I had to deal with a lot of pain and disappointment. My son with cerebral palsy needed more time than I was able to give him. A doctor who I spoke with was very hard on me and said that I needed to spend more time being an advocate for my son. With my oldest son starting to fail in school and both of my younger children having several issues, plus my job has a lot of major job stress like lay off potential, I was not able to devote as much time to my son as I needed and wanted to do.
This year I began to wake up at 5 am and listen to Joyce Myer, read the Bible, and exercise. My oldest son’s grades are better, my son who has cerebral palsy is learning to walk, and my daughter is getting all A’s in school. I am in school now and I am getting good grades as well. I will begin to incorporate some of your suggestions from “Step up to the Plate” into my life along with these that I have already incorporated.
Thank you for inspiring me to be the person I want to be.
